ANTHONY MICHETTI Obituary
ANTHONY B.
Age 93 of Media PA, died June 10, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, Tony worked in the Engineer-ing Department at ITE Circuit Breaker Co., where a number of his design innovations resulted in the award of U.S. and Canadian Patents.
Anthony tried to enlist 3 times into the service, only to be turned away because a bout of rheumatic fever had damaged his heart. Trained in Opera, he volunteered his talents to the USO to entertain our troops.
Tony was a 55 year member of the Knights of Columbus, where he achieved the 4th Degree, and a 70 year member of the Sons of Italy.
He cherished his family.
Predeceased by his wife, Pina (nee DiBernadino) Michetti. Survived by his daughter, Maria Michetti (Charles Echelmaier)
and son, R. Anthony Michetti (Nancy). grandchildren, Francesca Keltner (Tyler), Andrew Echelmaier, Mark and Erica Michetti.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Friday, June 15, at 10:30 A.M., in Nativity BVM Church, 30 E. Franklin St., Media. Calling Thurs. Eve, from 6 to 8 P.M., in J. NELSON RIGBY FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore Ave. and Jackson St., Media PA, and again Friday, from 9:15 to 10:15 A.M., in Church. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Contribu-tions to Nativity Church, or Boys Town Nebraska.

Tony, Nancy, Maria, Chuck, Francesca, Tyler, Andrew, Mark and Erica, Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time. Your dad/grandfather was a wonderful man and we are blessed for having had the opportunity to get to know him in the way that we did. We have such fond memories of him. We know that your memories of him will always be with you to bring you comfort and will help get you through this time. May he rest in God's loving peace.
