Ann Woodward Obituary
Virginia Beach - Ann Josephine Woodward passed away peacefully Sept. 27, 2013 at the Kings Grant House where she resided for the last year and a half. She was born in Union City, New Jersey but lived in Virginia Beach for over 60 years. Prior to moving to the Kings Grant House, for approximately 12 years she shared time living with her two sons and daughters-in-law; John and Fran in Virginia Beach and Will and Diane in Escondido, CA. She was a member of Lynnhaven United Methodist Church.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, William Bryce Woodward, in 1997 and also by two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, four granchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her family, Ann's great loves in life included music, dancing, gardening, animals of all types, and chocolate. She also cultivated a talent for painting.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at Lynnhaven United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Ronnie Morris. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA. You may pay condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
The family is deeply grateful for the care and loving support provided by the Kings Grant House, the Medi Hospice Organization, and the ladies Circles of Lynnhaven United Methodist Church.

OMG I wish someone would have got in touch with my Dad about my Aunt Anna's passing. I will always remember her as a fun lving woman. I remember when she had come up to my Grandmothers wake she looked so much like her and looked as I remembered her the last time I had seen her in Virgina Beach God Bless her now the whole family is in Heaven together.
