Stewart Edward Marsh, 56, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Sunday March 7, 2021 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the loving husband of Wendy S. (Hilbert) Marsh, they were married June 1, 1991.
Born June 4, 1964 in East Stroudsburg, the son of Edward James Marsh of Stroudsburg, and the late Georgianna (Miller) Marsh.
Stew was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. Currently he was working for Stroud Township in Road Maintenance; prior to that he was a truck driver for Resort Beverage for 21 years.
He loved to be outside, whether it was hunting, fishing, camping, cutting grass or blowing leaves. He was a kind person who loved to help his friends and neighbors without expecting anything in return; and always had a smile on his face and a great story to tell.
In addition to his wife and father, Stew is survived by his daughter Allison P. Marsh and his son Kyle Stewart Marsh both of East Stroudsburg; and the light of his life, his granddaughter Gabrielle Fezza.
He is also survived by his 2 brothers, Ronald Marsh and his wife Krista of Stroudsburg and Troy Marsh and his wife Renee of Stroudsburg. His special nephew Keith Myers and special niece Amy Carey as well as other nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his twin brother Henry Marsh this past February 11, 2021.
There will be a viewing on Saturday March 13, 2021 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street Stroudsburg.
Private Funeral services will be held on Monday March 15, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Dana Antal and Pastor Lynda Keefer officiating; Burial will follow in the Custred Cemetery, Bartonsville.
