ALFRED E.
Age 90, of Penn Hills, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016. Dear son of the late Edward and Hazel (Wise) Honsperger; loving husband for 68 years of Ruth E. (Gauger) Honsperger; beloved father of Linda Honsperger, Douglas (Joan) Honsperger, and Chris (Laura) Honsperger; grandfather of Sabrina, Michael, and Kenny; great-grandfather of Gwendolyn, Abigail, Bethany, Brieanna, and Isabella. Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, January 14, 2016, 10:30 a.m. Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1261 Pennsylvania Ave., Oakmont. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH.

Ruth, Chris, Doug and Linda: My deepest sympathies to each of you on Al's passing. I have many fond childhood memories from countless time spent at your home, camping at Shawnee and having great family fun. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and such a strong commitment to his family. I know he will be sorely missed.
As much as he is no longer with us, I feel certain he will live on in your hearts for years to come. I know he made an impression on me.
Again, my sympathies and May God Bless Al and each of you in the days ahead.
