Dear Drayton, Nancy and Allison,
Can't imagine the world without Janet. She was a great friend and co conspirator. So many wonderful memories. We are happy she is at peace after a long struggle. Love to all the family. xoxo The Hewetts

Dear Drayton,
We were saddened to hear about Janet's passing. She was a lovely lady and so much fun to be around. Nunz always remembers how she loved to dance with him. We were thankful to be your friends when you were in West Hartford and enjoyed our many UCONN basketball games. Nancy was a gracious hostess when she had a bridal shower for Carolyn. We will continue to remember her in our prayers.

Dear Drayton, Nancy and Allison.
How strange to hear of Janet's death from Bob Burnett in West Hartford. So many years have gone by, and I didn't know where you were living. But, I have wonderful memories of our time raising all of you.
Janet was a very good friend to me for many years. I'm sorry that her health problems were so severe that she has died. May God receive her into arms of mercy and may you be comforted and strengthened. Sincerely, Karen Woodruff

On behalf of the entire Kingswood Oxford School community, we offer our deepest sympathy on the passing of Janet.
Because her daughters, Nancy Heard Krahmer '86 and Allison Heard Dugan '89, are cherished members of our school family, we feel that Janet was, too, and we mourn her death along with those who loved her.
Please know that we'll keep the family in our thoughts in the days and weeks to come. We are very sorry for your loss, but join you in celebrating the life of a wonderful woman.
