Tom was the most loving, thoughtful and kind man I have ever met. He was always welcoming to all. Our family was so blessed to have him our lives for 10 great years. He truly treated me as a daughter and he brought such happiness to my Mother, Gladys. It is so hard to believe it has been almost 11 years. Thank you to all of the Gillespie family for sharing your wonderful father and grandfather with us.

To The Gillespie Family,
My deepest sympathies to you all. I have so many dear memories of "Uncle" Tom (and "Aunt" Betsy) tucked away from childhood. All the Thanksgivings we spent together, many a Christmas visit, and the glorious summer visits to the farm. Uncle Tom was so warm and funny and smart and fun to be with. Even though I was often the "little" kid in the group, he always made me feel that I was important too. A truly special human being who will be missed but never forgotten.

I am so happy that Uncle Tom found happiness again and send my sympathies also to his lovely wife.

Dear Carolyn, Louise, Dave and Tom,
I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I have such fond memories of both your parents while growing up in Point Breeze. They were wonderful hosts for many Thanksgiving meals together with my parents and sister. In addition, we spent many fun 4th of July's at the farm. I still look for the pool when driving up Route 8! Please accept my deepest sympathy.

To the Entire Gillespie Family,
We were truly saddened to learn of Tom's passing. We were so blessed to have such a fine man join our family. It was a priviledge to know Tom.
We are especially grateful, and will always admire him for the warmth and love he demonstrated to our grandmother, and the entire Killmeyer family.
He was such a gentleman, and will be missed.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Warm regards,

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Gladys and the entire Gillespie family on the passing of Mr Tom Gillespie. Knowing him has been a big benefit for me of the marriage of Patricia and David. His kind nature, warm hospitality, and generous spirit allowed me - and the DeFazio family - to enjoy the many blessings of the farm... where so many wonderful memories have been made. I loved how his eyes sparkled to hear the kids laughing in the pool. He was definitely one of my favorite people, and his loss removes a special spirit from this earth. Please know that I share your grief as you say good-bye to this wonderful man and gentle spirit. I love you, David... may the many gifts of the heart your father gave to you comfort you at this time.
