MARY THOMPSON Obituary

THOMPSON MARY B.
Age 84, of Country Meadows in Bridgeville, PA, formerly of Fredonia Rd. in Greenville, passed away following a brief illness on Friday, December 7, 2012 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born in Conneaut, OH on December 14, 1927 to the late Frank and Irene (Daggit) Campbell. Mary was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 22 in Conneaut, Ohio. She attended the Upper Saint Clair Alliance church and enjoyed participating in their senior group. She really enjoyed her friends and participating in all activities at Country Meadows, in Bridgeville, especially making crafts and playing bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She married Leonard F. Thompson in September of 1952 and he preceded her in death on October 8, 1987. Mary is survived by a daughter, Cindy Roberts and her husband, Terry, of Bridgeville, PA; a sister, Jean Tulley and her husband, Richard, of Elkhorn, WI; and two grandchildren, Tara Roberts and Matthew Roberts, both of Bridgeville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jean Thompson. Visitation will be held Monday, December 10, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at OSBORNE- WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 73-75 Columbia Ave., Greenville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, with Rev. Howard Greenfield, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church in Grove City, officiating. Burial, with committal prayers, will follow the service at Shenango Valley Cemetery in Greenville. Memorial contributions can be made to: American Diabetes Association, P.O.
