Tony Brower, 54, died in his home Monday, April 16, 2012, following a sudden illness.
Tony J. Brower was born in Driggs, Idaho, on Oct. 21, 1957. He moved to Wyoming in 1989. Tony's charisma made him a successful salesman at several car dealerships in Rock Springs, Wyo. He has been working in construction for the last 15 years, most recently at Lewis & Lewis.
Tony raised four children, Embere Thornwall, Russ Brower, Jeff Brower and Blake Brower. Tony married Sandy Brower on May 20, 2000. Together, they are the proud grandparents of nine talented grandchildren.
Tony was a hard worker, respected by his colleagues at Lewis & Lewis Construction. He was a doting husband and grandfather. Tony enjoyed camping and was an avid fisherman. Most importantly, he loved his family. Tony had a wicked sense of humor and a charming smile. He will certainly be missed in this world.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his sister, Leyan (Dean) Scott; two brothers, Dennis (Jerrilee) Brower and Lamar (Barbara) Brower; a brother-in-law, Cal Murdock; his nephew and "twin brother," Arnie Jenkins; sons, Jeff Brower and Blake Brower; daughter, Embere (Jason) Thornwall; stepson, Josh (Melissa) Bates; stepdaughter, Erin (Chad) Culver; grandchildren, Lindsay Pierson, Kayla and Chase Thornwall, Caden and Cole Brower, Taylor Schultz, Paige and Ty Culver, and Parker Bates and Jayden Jensen; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Zelda Brower; his sister, Karen Murdock; his brother, Merrill Phil Brower; and his son, Russ Brower.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Foothills LDS Church, 3315 White Mountain Blvd. in Rock Springs, Wyo. It was sad to hear the passing of Tony. (Sketter) We went to school from third grade thought high school, played sports and ran around togather. I worked for the Browers during harvest time for three years, a great family. I was hoping to see Tony at our 35th class reunion last summer. It has been awhile since I seen him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Brower
Family.
