Francis Wells Obituary
Francis Ruth Wells, 72 was of Van Buren passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 in a local hospital. She was born January 28, 1948 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Charles and Pauline (Loftin) Wells. She was a freelance artist, a most gifted artist in any medium; children and animals were always attracted to her as a kindred spirit and known for her deep compassion and generosity. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. A viewing will be one hour prior to service with cremation to follow.
She is survived by father, Charles Wells of Van Buren; two brothers, Terry Wells and wife, Barbara, Fred Wells all of Van Buren; three nieces, Lisa Pixley, Amy Sparkman and Christy Jones; eight great nieces; six great nephews; and her very best friends, Gayle Blanton and Connie Adrion.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Frances and her momma used to visit my produce business and visit . After I sold the business we would run into each other at Walmart´s. She was one of the most gentle loving and kind person I have ever been aquatinted with. May you Rest In Peace sweet lady.

Francis was a very special friend. She is greatly responsible for me having a fun and interesting childhood. She has been in my life since I was 10. She was in our wedding, loved my children and taught me many things. She was a constant and a great thinker outside the box. But mostly; she was my friend and loved me.
I am heartbroken with her death but glad she is no longer in pain. Be kind to yourself and others in her honor. Rest easy my sweet friend.
