Harold E. Decker, Sr.
of Mechanicsville, Va.
formerly of Port Crane
Harold E. Decker, Sr., 75, beloved husband of Marilyn B. Decker, died unexpectedly February 14, 2007 at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Virgie Decker; and a brother, Billy. Harold is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his daughters, Cindy, Binghamton, N.Y., Karen, Richmond, Va.; his sons, Harold Jr. (Theresa), East Moline, Ill., and Timothy (Cindy), Lynchburg, Va.; sister, Mary Ellen Blakeslee, Port Crane, N.Y.; also nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Gabriel. Harold was a veteran of the Army, serving in Germany during the Korean War. He retired from Link Aviation after 30 years. At retirement he moved to Virginia, but New York/Pennsylvania was always "home".
Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to The Building Fund, Hanover Evangelical Friends Church, 6420 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, Va. 23111.
