I just learned of Dr. Palumbo’s passing and feel absolutely heartbroken.

He was my best buddy.
I would’ve been a quadriplegic if it wasn’t for him performing my spinal surgery 14 years ago. He gave me quality of life. We always joked and laughed together.

He loved my baklava.

I will miss him forever! ❤

My heart goes out to you all. Although we did not know him personally, he performed surgery on my husbands back. We would joke how serious he was; we got him to crack a few smiles and reflected on it often.

Truly saddened

Doc was a special person. He had such a nice way about him. I was deeply saddened to here of his passing. A man whom took his profession so personally, that he has left a permanent impression on all of those he has met. Truly a wonderful man. The world would be a much better place if everyone was of the same caliber as Doc. Condolences to his children, wife, and family.

To the entire Palumbo family.
I'm still in shock at the news of Marks passing. We were neighbors and childhood friends growing up and kept in touch professionally over the years. Mark helped so many people including members of my family. He was soft spoken, gentle, genuinely caring and enjoyed helping people.
Mark was an amazing physician, wonderful person and warm friend and I'm certain he was more than that to his family.

Please accept my most sincere condolences. God bless all of you!
Taken way too soon, Rest In Peace my friend.

To the entire Palumbo family,

Dr. Palumbo was an amazing physician with an incredible way of caring for his patients. I never took for granted how lucky I was to have him as my spinal specialist. He repaired my back on numerous occasions and he always had a way of making you feel like more than a patient. I can only imagine how warm he was to his family and friends. I wish you all much peace and comfort as you begin to navigate the days ahead without him.

Rest easy Dr. Palumbo.

I worked with Dr Palumbo for 7years as his research nurse. He was an amazing person all the way around! We both shared a love of the outdoors and we always laughed together no matter what the situation. He was always kind to everyone and loved his work. So many patients felt cared for but more than that was his compassion. When I fractured my shoulder, he took me in right away and diagnosed a fracture when others didn't. He was so special because he listened to people which is so rare in the field of medicine today. I remember the pictures of his family and how he would talk of everyone. This makes me realize that life is so precious! I pray for the family in this time of deep loss.

Dr. Palumbo performed spinal surgery to fix a ruptured disc i was suffering from in 2012, and the results were nothing short of miraculous. His work transformed my life. He was a gifted surgeon, but also a caring, attentive, engaged physician who represented the best of his profession. I am deeply sorry for your loss, and hope you find comfort in the knowledge that he touched so many lives.

Dear Dr. Palumbo's wife and children,

Your husband and Dad was a gentle soul, well-respected man, and the best back surgeon! He helped me get back to my fitness workouts again after I had back surgery last December. He helped & healed so many people. We all wish we could have helped him. He was way too young.
I was heartbroken when I heard of his sickness. I prayed that he could be cured by some miracle. As time went on, I prayed that he would not suffer any longer. He is at peace now.
My deepest sympathies to all of you during this most difficult time.
