Brenda,

I miss Noah so much, but I know my grief cannot even compare to yours and the rest of the family.

Noah and I were supposed to have met for lunch last Wednesday. I had some things I wanted to bounce off of him as I so much appreciated his perspective. I will miss that.

You, Mary Beth and all the family are in our prayers. I have written a tribute to him that I will soon send to you and to his parents.

In His Love,

Dear Family. I never had the chance meet The Reverend Barefoot. However, I remember reading the story of the Robersonville Church in the IPHC publication, and it so touched my life that I called and ordered more copies so I could share them with the congregation I was serving at that time. I will be in prayer for your family.
Kindest regards

Brenda,
Noah left an indelible mark on me as my roommate our first year at Holmes. His influence over me as a young kid from MS that didn't know anything probably helped shape who I am today. I will never forget the great times we shared during our summer of traveling for the school. Those memories are some of my most cherised.

My heart and prayers go out to you, Bonita, and Noah's parents. May His Peace that passes all Understanding, be with you all during this time of sorrow.

Love and Prayers

"To be 'in Him' is as complete as our surrender is possible." My husband still quotes that to this day from his days at Holmes. Though we have never met, I heard so many wonderful stories about you and Noah and the rest. It is our desire that you find that "perfect peace" that often is difficult to sense at these times...but rest assured the Prince of Peace is very near.
My husband reminded me of the plays and the traveling group they were in. Our hearts are heavy with you and your family.
Just remember, "there are more with us" than we could ever imagine.

I just heard this sad news. I cannot tell you what Pastor Barefoot meant to me. He was the kindest evangelical pastor I have ever known. He did not make me feel my family was less than worthy to be in his church because I was a single parent. He steadfastly supported me and my son Jim through all our troubles. I am deeply grieved and will miss him very much. Brenda and Mary Beth - I am so very sorry for your great and terrible loss. You know that even now Jesus is telling him "Well done my good and faithful servant." You will be reunited in heaven.

I was shocked and saddened, when hearing of Noah's accident. Noah and I played trumpet together in band at Lakewood High School, even though I was not a christian at that time, I knew there was something very special about Noah. Over the years I would see Noah Sr. at different church functions and I would always ask about Noah Jr. Just last month I saw him all the way in Pigeon Forge Tenn. at a Church Leadership Conference I was attending, and again i inquired about Noah Jr., and he explained to me as he always did , with that Fatherly pride, that Noah Jr. was Pastoring in Grenville now. Know that you will all be in our prayers during your time of grief.

To Noah's family:
Having learned after church - just today - of the passing of Noah, the precious memories began to flood my soul. Noah and I had most of our classes together at Lakewood HS. He was one of my dearest friends and an awesome brother in Christ. Perhaps I'll never forget the only sermon I heard him preach a couple of years ago at his home church, Peniel, entitled "What Next?" Noah never had a chance to hear me preach, but I'm grateful for that one special opportunity to witness him in ministry. I am deeply saddened in my spirit by the news of his death, but I'm certain that the good fruit that he spent his life/ministry bearing will remain forever. I can't imagine a class reunion in the future without Noah. I will miss him greatly.

To Brenda and Mary Beth, your husband and father was a great servant of the Lord. To Mr. and Mrs. Barefoot, thank you for the tie that continues to bind our hearts in Christian love. To Benita and Dawn, your brother loved you so much. It is my prayer that God will comfort you today and in the days ahead.
In the love of Christ,

October 18, 2009

Brenda,

It has been many years since we've seen each other. In all, though, memories of you and your love for Noah are always at the front of my mind. May the peace of God carry you through this time of loss and sadness. Heaven is the richer, now. God be with you.

Brenda & Mary Beth,
We are so saddened to hear of your great loss. We know you take comfort in the knowledge that he is in the arms of God, wearing a crown full of jewels, but will pray for your day to day healing and courage to endure this great loss.

Dawn & Bonita,
Special prayers will go out for you two--I lost my 48 year old baby brother in May '08, and I still mourn for him. My heart breaks at your sadness, but I will continue to lift up you and your families for comfort and healing. Love, Loretta

Reggie, Dawn,Cassie and all the children. We can't possible imagine what you are going through. We love all of you and plan to come visit you in Roseboro in a few weeks. We had entertained going

notice. However, our hearts and prayers will be with you. Should
there be anything I can do,please call me. You know that you are more like family than friends, God be with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Noah's passing. We were closely connected through Falcon and later at Emmanuel College where we both were involved in Singers and Ministry. May the peace of God bring comfort to each of you.

Noah was my pastor in Robersonville and he married my husband and me. I was shocked to hear of his passing, he was indeed a very special pastor and I know he will be missed greatly.

When I heard of Noah's passing, memories flooded back from the 70's and the good times we had at Falcon. But what stood out more, was the fact that we had fun in the Lord...he was a big part of my teenage years and I am grateful to have had him in my life. To the family, Brenda, you are in our prayers. Mr. Noah and Mrs. Westa, we love you and are holding you up. Bonita and Dawn, we love you and are praying.
