Stephanie Warren Obituary

Stephanie Hill Warren

FARMVILLE - Stephanie Hill Warren was born on Christmas Day. It was a date that defined her entire life: she was a generous spirit; a giver; the person everyone could count on to contribute.

Stephanie had many loves, but primary were her husband, Lee, her daughter, Aubrey, her son, Luke, and her mother and best friend, Diane. She loved sports.

20 years ago, she and Lee first met at an Ayden-Grifton football game and she spent many afternoons and evenings cheering in the stands at Luke's baseball and football games. She and Aubrey spent countless weekends at horse shows, where Aubrey competed and brought home one blue ribbon after another. They're all proudly strung across Aubrey's bedroom in their Farmville home.

She was dedicated to her work as vice president of finance at CopyPro, in Greenville. The second generation of the family business, Stephanie started working for CopyPro when she was 15, emptying coin machines from ECU.

She was an organizer at heart and loved to plan parties and trips to places both near and far Italy, Argentina, Alaska, Hawaii, Australia among them. In 2009, she both climbed to the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge and dove to the depths of the Great Barrier Reef. She was an adventurer, but one who loved nothing better than to throw on a pair of comfy pants and socks and curl up in the corner of the couch, playing games or simply cuddling with the kids. Her wide, beautiful smile was only offset by the head-bobbing that came as a warning when she was truly irritated.

Stephanie was generous with her time and talents, volunteering at both Reedy Branch FWB Church and Greenville Christian Academy.

All children held a special place in her heart, but Aubrey and Luke were her babies. As an adoptive mother, she was grateful every day for the opportunity to be their Mom.

In addition to Lee, Aubrey and Luke Warren, she is survived by her mother, Diane Murphrey and father, Ed Murphrey; her sisters, Jennie Jones and Melissa Greene and brother-in-law Gary; mother-in-law Dianna Case; father-in-law, David Warren and wife, Sandra; sisters-in-law, Terry Sawyer and husband, Lloyd and Stacy Stallings; brother-in-law, Travis Warren and wife, Kaleigh; and numerous special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and her Copypro family and friends.

Her Dad, Lloyd Rodney Hill, passed away in 2015.

Just as Stephanie loved her family and friends, she is loved equally in return. Her funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m., May 27, 2016, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., May 26, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville, NC.

Flowers are welcome or donations may be sent to Reedy Branch FWB Church, 4457 Reedy Branch Road, Winterville, NC 28590, or Greenville Christian Academy, Athletic Department, 1621 Greenville Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834.

Arrangements are by Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville.

Sending love and prayers to Stephanie's family. I am so sorry God called her home at such a young age. I met Stephanie and Lee while they were dating at Reedy Branch Church. My life took a different course and I lost contact with them. She was always a beautiful and caring person both inside and out. Prayers for peace for Lee and the children.
