I was so very sorry to hear about Sheryl. I spent many nights at her house as a young girl. Her family was welcoming and kind with their generousity. Sheryl was fun, and determined and sweet. She will always hold a special place in my heart as a friend from my youth.

There is a new angel in heaven. I've known Sheryl since first grade and have lots of great memories-- basketball games and slumber parties, rec night at Buckbee, baby showers and our trip to Las Vegas for our 50th birthdays. Sheryl was very brave through her illness. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go to her family and friends.

I am sorry for this loss. It is interesting that I am related to her because she and my mom are 3rd cousins and our common ancestor is Ludolph and Johanna (Stender) Reese.

My deepest sympathy to all of Sheryl's family. I've known Sheryl since kindergarten and we grew up together enjoying cheerleading, slumber parties and all out neighborhood fun. She was always so much fun to be around and I remember her having a smile on her face all the time. I know how hard she fought this disease. Marci and Matt, you can be proud of your Mom's courage. I know how much she loved you guys.
