Our paths first crossed at Barona Mission on Christmas Eve. I was so moved by the special person who incensed his way to the altar. That was a very special Christmas Eve, Beth, and that very special person was Albert "Boxie" Phoenix. I thank God for the privilege of knowing him even if so briefly. With love, Anne Bodack, West HIlls, Ca.

I am truly grieving because Boxie was one of my very favorite classmates through our eight grades together at Lakeside Elementary. Always sweet and fun and friendly. I wish we could have been closer in our later years. I'd enjoy hearing from his children and grandchildren. I will forward the sad news to the Grossmont Graduating Class of 1950.
