Cornelius (Cory) Stanley Klomp II, aged 19, born on July 22, 2006 in San Diego, CA, passed away on December 25, 2025 in Santa Maria, CA. He was born to his loving mother and father. Cory was preceded in death by Michelle Jo Bramwell.

He is survived by his proud father, Cornelius Stanley Klomp Sr., his siblings Alexandra (Lexi) Martin, Madison Klomp, Brooke (Chrissie) Klomp, Larry Hoyle Jr., Kulton Bramwell, and Adam Klomp. A graduate of Santa Maria High School and a current sophomore in college, Cory was a committed, diligent student. He enjoyed his work at Panera Bread, where he was recognized for his dedication and positivity as Associate of the Month in September 2025. Cory's love for learning was not confined to the classroom. He enjoyed exploring the world of video game development and was fascinated by the rocket launches at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Cory found immense joy in the great outdoors. He loved biking, dirt bike riding, swimming, snorkeling, and hiking. His hobbies also extended to playing video games and spending time with friends, which brought him great pleasure and satisfaction. Cory's most significant accomplishment was his academic success. He completed the challenging A-G UC/CSU requirements at Santa Maria High School, setting himself up for a successful college career. His commitment to his studies was acknowledged during the 2021-2022 academic year, when he was awarded the Academic Excellence for the Spring Semester. Cory was known for his kindness, curiosity, and loyalty. He was quietly determined, always striving to excel in his studies and work. A visionary at heart, he planned for a bright future with his beloved girlfriend, Mayra Contreras. Cory was adventurous and intellectual, equally comfortable riding dirt bikes or exploring video game development. His warmth and ambition left an indelible mark on everyone who was privileged to know him. A service will be held in Cory's honor on January 26, 2026, at the Santa Maria Cemetery. Cory's life was a brief gift to us all, and he will be deeply missed. His spirit, passion, and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy will inspire us to strive for excellence, to be kind, and to cherish our loved ones. Cory, your light continues to shine brightly, guiding us forward.
