Dear Weitz Family, We know your hearts are broken over the loss of Harvey. I can just imagine how much you will miss him. I remember what a fun, good neighbor he was to Tim, when they were both at Georgia. He fixed Toni (Marie) and me up on dates with a couple of his Sigma Phi fraternity brothers, when we were visiting Tim for the summer. My brother- in –law, Hank (Henry) Lehwald, Toni's husband, was friends with Harvey since childhood. Lorraine, our families were friends over many years. Our fathers went to school together, were in the military together and later worked with each other. Tim and Little Brad were best buddies till the end of Little Brad's days. This is like 6 degrees of separation. We want to send our deepest sympathy to all of Harvey's family and friends. We wish you only the best for the future. Peace and Blessings from all our family, Tim, Cheryl, Toni, Bill and Debra Cox

To The Weitz Family
We were so saddened to hear of the lost of Harvey upon our return from the mountains. It has brought back so many fond memories of Harvey and how much we have always thought of him. He was next door neighbors and friends with my brother while they attended UGA. I remember the fun summer spent in Athens and I had the privilege to baby sit Trace. What a beautiful baby he was! Not knowing that years later, Harvey would be the reason for my 47 years of marriage to Henry. I remember the only way I would go on this blind date he set up was for him to go as well. So Harvey has always had a special place in our hearts. His entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless. LOVE HENRY AND MARIE LEHWALD

Harvey was not only a great lawyer. He was one of the nicest and most helpful people I have known -- and I was lucky to know Harvey almost his entire life. I am saddened that he will no longer be among us. Bonnie joins me in sending condolences to the family.

Dear Julian, Robert and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Harvey's death. My childhood memories of him as a sweet "fun loving" young man" will stay with me. I only regret that in these latter years we didn't see each other more.
That is my loss. Please know that I am thinking of all of you and would be there but I am in Seattle now.Love and deepest sympathy.

So saddened to hear of the loss! Harvey was my dad's friend and lawyer - he was a recipient of dad's kibitzing endlessly while he worked on keeping him in check! I hope he can get into the card game with my dad up there. He was always so kind to me from afar and I know he was certainly a great son of Savannah. May the family be comforted among the mourners of Israel. Huge loss....

The Weitz family has suffered two crushing losses within a few weeks. May G-D give them the strength to move forward and lessen their suffering. Harvey was a grosser mensch in every facet of the word and the world will be smaller without him. May he rest in peace as he deserves.

Harvey was a fine man. He would listen to
Scotty and I when we were working on the law practice restoration way back when. You could tell that he would be a formidable lawyer and you would be glad to have him on your side. I will miss him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Harvey in the old Courthouse many, many years ago. I worked in State Court and would see him constantly in those days. He was smart and witty and one of those Attorneys you really loved to see walk in the office. Thru the years, we were graced with his presence only periodically, but he was always a true Southern Gentleman.....one that will be missed but remembered. Rest in Peace Harvey.
