Carmelita Todaro Obituary

Carmelita Davis Todaro - SAVANNAH - Carmelita Davis Todaro, 78, of Savannah, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at Hospice Savannah. She was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and was preceded in death by her parents, Centrelle Dean & Helen Moomau Davis. She was a graduate of Mary Washington College, Class of 1955, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She is survived by 3 sons, Tim Todaro (Susan), of St. Augustine, Fla; Tom Todaro and Donald Todaro, both of Savannah, Ga; 3 brothers, Ray Dean Davis (Diane) of Savannah, Ga; J. W. McLear (Rosalie) of Stanton, Virginia, and Don McLear (Geri), of Melbourne, Fla; 6 grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. No Visitation. Graveside Services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery. Remembrances: Hospice Savannah, 1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, Ga 31406. Family:
I am genuinely sadden to hear of her passing. She was fine lady (all mothers are). I speak this with conviction, as I had the great honor of knowing her son Mr. Tom Todaro. May God bless her family and they always remember "Gods mercy endures forever."
