Clinton Keith Obituary

CLINTON HERBERT KEITH, 86 years old died at home with family on Tuesday, April 8, 2003. Clinton was born in El Paso, Texas, Sept. 3, 1916. He was preceded in death this year by his sisters, Mary Lee Simonson & Marcella Murray. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, June Keith; son, Alan Keith; daughters, Betty Dale Garland, Donna Lee Lief, Sherry Lynn Blake, Christine Johnson, and Tammy Lynn Keith-Suggs. He is also preceded in death by his son, Steven Delbert Keith. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, also survive Clinton. Clinton worked, as switchman for the Southern Pacific RR for 5 years before going to work at Kaiser Steel Corp. in Fontana where he retired after 35 years. Clinton also worked tirelessly as a Alcoholic Rehabilitation Counselor for Pioneer Foundation in Pomona, Twin Palms recovery center in Glendora and as one of the three founders of Amigo now Cedar House in Bloomington. He will be greatly missed and remembered b y all those he knew and helped, and we will be reminded of his tireless dedication as we pass by Clinton Keith Road in Temecula. Viewing to be held Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. at Green Acres Mortuary & Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon at either Bloomington Congregational United Church of Christ located at 18490 Santa Ana Ave. in Bloomington, or at Green Acres Chapel. Graveside will follow along with a gathering at the church.
