Scott Eyler Obituary

Scott A. EYLER Born in Seattle on May 14, 1940 and raised in Burien, Scott Eyler graduated from Highline High School and the U of W with a Masters in Business. He was devoted to his wife, Peggy, and his two daughters, Tiffany and Sydney, as well as his work in the area of hospital finance. Employers included U of W, Harborview, Providence, Kindred, and FHCRC. Scott enjoyed fishing and socializing at his cabin on Sinclair Island. He cherished his great neighbors on Sinclair and in Snohomish. His sense of humor would bring about much laughter to cheer and delight anyone in his presence. Scott thanked God for his wonderful life. His family feels incredibly lucky to have had him the center of their lives. He made life exciting, interesting and fun for all! Surviving family members include Peggy, Tiffany and Sydney, his sister, Candy Irwin, of Oregon, two nieces and three nephews, cousins and many life-long friends. Scott passed away in his sleep on Dec. 17, 2011. As he turned the wheel of his boat, trusting in Jesus, he made his journey to the other shore. A celebration of his life is planned for Jan. 7th at 1 pm at Maltby Christian Assembly (9322 Paradise Lake Rd, Snohomish, WA 98296). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Meow Kitty at P.O. Box 58, Kirkland, WA 98083 or any other animal charity of your choice.

Sorry to hear the sad news. He was a good friend since junior high school days, even though contact over the last few decades was limited but always very enjoyable. Joyce and I will miss him.

My sincere condolence at Scott's passing. I knew Scott starting 1977 when I began working at Harborview Medical Center. He had such a dynamic personality! I never worked with anyone quite like him. I had planned on being at today's memorial service but am now not able to.
