Patty,
I heard the news about Phillip. It was sad to hear. I had the wonderful opportunity to see your Mom, Phillip, and Carroll, last year. We had a great visit! Ed and I were on our way out of town but I made sure we stopped for a few hours. We took some great pictures. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I apologize for not making to the funeral. It would be nice to see you when we visit Springfield. Love & friendship, Edwin & Madeline

Richard, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a multi talented man that I met at the University. He was a free spirit and a great sense of humor. His standard of excellence in work was singular. He loved you so much and struggled as a single father. Phil was a brilliant intellect and like all of us struggled to find his place. As I read his obit sounds like all was well with Dad and family! Blessings!

Phil was such a great guy! He worked redoing our basement into bedroom. He was there during our son's battle with cancer. He was always bringing something for the little kids! He noticed I collected tins and brought me a musical tin that became my favorite! Always a smile and encouraging word! The world will miss him and the opportunities to know a kind-hearted man in these crazy days!
