Stephen Manfredo Obituary
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Stephen "Steve" Michael Manfredo, 58, of Springfield, died at 7:07 pm, Friday, April 1, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born February 2, 1958, son of Louis and Charlotte Manfredo.
Survivors include one daughter, Skylar Manfredo of Springfield; two sons, Shawn Manfredo of Waltham, MA and Christopher (Ashley) Manfredo of Oglesby; mother, Charlotte Manfredo of Springfield; one sister, Mary Godart of Chatham; two brothers, David (Kara) Manfredo and Daniel (Anna) Manfredo both of Springfield. And several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Steve was a US Navy veteran. He attended Little Flower School and Springfield High School.
Steve enjoyed golfing, bowling, ping pong and pool. He was a beloved father, son, brother and friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Memorial Gathering: 10:30am – 12:30pm, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home.
Memorial Service: 12:30 pm, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home, with Reverend John Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery where Military Honors will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.

What can I say about my old buddy Fredo. The golf outings won't be the same without you dude. (He liked to say dude a lot!)I'll miss you man! Iknow you'll get a hole-in one in heaven! Never forget your 150 yard eagle shot on #3 at Bunn. My condolences to the family. Steve was a good man and a good friend.

Mrs. Manfredo/ Charlotte - My mom just told me of Steve's passing and I couldn't be more crushed to hear. As you know Steve and I had a special relationship. We weren't close for a lot of years but still had a special bond. He came to see me when my dad passed. I came to see him when his did. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mary, Danny and David. I will try to find pictures from the 70's
