WALKERTON - Bernadette “Loki” Jensen, 59, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
Loki was born November 17, 1958, in LaPorte, IN, and lived in the area all of her life.
On August 8, 1981, in Hamlet, IN, she was married to David Jensen, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, David “DJ” (DeeAnn) Jensen, Eric (Laura) Jensen and Andrew Jensen; three grandchildren, Deklon, Jack and Dawsyn Jensen; five sisters, Judy Lenz, Jean Ann (Norman) Beem, Brenda Tabaka, Theresa Lenz and Helene (Daniel) Banina; two brothers, Father Frank Lenz and David Lenz; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Mae Jensen; sister-in-law, Paula Jensen; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Lenz and Helen Heymig.
Loki was a former teacher/coach at Boone Grove School and Knox Community Schools. She was a member of Holy Cross Church of Hamlet and St. Dominic Church of Koontz Lake.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. CST at Holy Cross Church of Hamlet with Rev. Father Anthony Spanley and Rev. Father Frank Lenz officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST and Thursday 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. A Rosary Service will be held Wednesday evening at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to: Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46546-5234.
