Peter Martin Obituary
Peter was the loved father of Luke Robert Martin and Olivia Grace Martin of North Dartmouth. He was the brother of Kelli Taglianetti of North Dartmouth. Peter was the Godfather of Payton Taglianetti.
Mr. Martin was the son of Robert J. "Lefty" Martin and Roberta D. (Cormier) Martin of North Dartmouth. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life. He was a Real Estate Appraiser. Peter was a member of the New Bedford Country Club, and the Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Appraisers.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Peter Martin Cancer Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, 221 Huttleston Ave., Fairhaven, MA. 02719.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. Martin's Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Church, in Dartmouth, MA Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5-8 P.M., at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., New Bedford.

I am so saddened to hear the news about Peter. He was such a wonderful big brother to Kelli...I will never forget the memories that I have of spending time at your home when Kelli would invite me over...it was always so much fun. I was very sad to learn of Peter's passing. I was fortunate to have been a friend of his and have many fond memories of Peter on and off local golf courses. I learned much from him and admired his stong commitment to family and career. Peter would always respond to those who needed help. He was a loyal and generous person. I will miss him.
May the Almighty forever envelop Peter in His loving arms and provide comfort and healing to his family.
