Sharon Elaine (Cushman) (Waldron) Farrell, 76, of East Bridgewater, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday February 23, 2018 in her home. She was the devoted and cherished wife of Richard J. Farrell. Daughter of the late Evelyn (Murphy) (Pierce)(Cushman) Lawson and stepdaughter of the late George T. Lawson of Brockton. Loving mother of Peter M. Waldron and wife Deanna of Sagamore Beach and Kathleen M. Holbrook and husband David of East Bridgewater. Also survived by granddaughters Jordan Holbrook Mueller and her husband Dan, Michelle and Nicole Waldron, grandsons Brian Holbrook and companion Caroline Potash, Brendon Holbrook and wife Margaret, great-grandson Carter Holbrook, great-granddaughter Avery Holbrook, her sisters Carol A. Harper Hayes of Whitman and Sandra J. (Cushman) Weatherby and her fianc Carl Fuhri of Estero Florida, step sister Martha (Lawson) Morrison of Springfield, her step children Karin Farrell and fianc Eric Mentis of Pembroke and Brian Farrell and companion Eileen Whitman of Hanson, her Goddaughters Kristen Hansen Harris and Kimberly Harper Hardy, Godsons John Scarpelli and Stephen Harper many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially her dear friend Marie Forrest. She was also the former wife of the late James E. Waldron Jr. Sharon was born in Boston on November 8, 1941 and was raised in North Weymouth, Abington, and Brockton. She was a graduate of Brockton High School 1959, Massasoit Community College 1984 and Stonehill College 1998. She had been a resident of East Bridgewater since 1965: also a member of the St. John's Church, the Catholic Women's Club, and the Red Hats lncredible. She retired from Massasoit Community College in 2002 and the Town of East Bridgewater DPW, in 2016. Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, at 9 a.m. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the St. Johns Church, East Bridgewater.
