Willard Davis Obituary

DAVIS, Rev. Dr. Willard L.
78, of Palm Bay, Florida, went home to his Savior on Sept. 10th. Born in Ambridge, PA, he graduated from Elmira High School in 1948, received degrees from Shelton College, NYU and Columbia Pacific University. He served as Pastor of churches in Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, Michigan, and Maryland, most notably Pineview Community Church in Albany, NY, Ward Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Livonia, MI, and Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, MD. Rev. Davis is survived by Rosemary (Tobias) Davis, his wife of 58 years; his children, Daniel, David, Todd, and Tami; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service was held for Dr. Davis at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, FL 32907.

I remember Pastor Davis from Pineview Community Church in the late 70's & he was a wonderful man with a very passionate love for God and his family, We will miss him until we meet again.God bless & my prayers are with you all.

I remember Rev. Davis (Sonny) as my Sunday School teacher at the Missionary Aliance Church in Elmira, NY. I am sure he will be missed by many of the lives he has touched.
