Carol June Bristow

Carol June Bristow September 7, 1935 - June 4, 2013 Carol June (Craig) Bristow, 77, of Eden Prairie, MN, died peacefully at 1:50 am on Tuesday, June 4th in her home surrounded by family after a brave battle with ALS. She was born on September 7th, 1935 in Montreal, Quebec to Lawrence and Margaret Craig, and was the third of their six children. She married Michael Bristow on June 27th, 1969.

In addition to Michael, she is also survived by their only son Jason, his wife Heather, her two grandsons Callum and Lleyton; her sister Norma and brothers Pat and Larry; as well as her nieces and nephews and the rest of her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother Jimmy and sister Helen.

A consummate wife, mother and homemaker, Carol was a wonderful cook and an avid reader and enjoyed traveling with Michael. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and proudly detailing the exploits of her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Humane Society (www.animalhumanesociety.org), a favorite charity of Carol's.
