To: Donna & Family
How can I put into words what Al has meant to us? Me catching Al saying hello to the dogs near the fence, picking Cucumbers together, OUR POTATO's this year, sharing hosta's, talking about our gardens, talking about Grandma Mabel?
I feel as though with Al & Donna, I have had grandparents brought back into my life. I know my Grandmother Mabel has greeted Al. It has been a true blessing having Al & Donna brought back into my life. I know my mother Carol feels the same way. Al has been a precious gift for the last 5 years.
Al, I cannot WAIT to pick our potato's. We miss you! We know you are smiling above us!

Gloria & Family,

I worked with Al during his HTC day's and found him to be one of the best men I have known - kind and always the gentleman. When he retired I missed him dearly and am so sad to hear of his passing.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family Donna. Al was such a wonderful man! I've loved every hug I've had from you two since we did Stephen Ministry - must be 20, 25 years ago? We'll all miss his smiling face at church. You are in my prayers.

I am so happy to see his smiling face here. We are blessed to have a parent into their 90's. I remember the years of Mrs. Jaycee/Jaycee events and how supportive both parents were to Judy, Gloria and their spouses.

May we all learn something from Al and their wonderful marriage of 68 years. The world needs more of that kind of love. He will be missed, but with a great big smile on my face.
