Hugh Beaugez Obituary
February 4, 1949 - March 24, 2021
Biloxi, Mississippi - Hugh Samuel "Sammy" Beaugez, Jr., age 72, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
Sammy was born on February 4, 1949 in Biloxi where he remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. He obtained his Masters of Nursing Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He retired after a 40-year career in nursing where he touched many lives with his loving professional care. Sammy was known by many as a great dancer who loved traveling, spending time with his large extended Italian and French family and celebrating Mardi Gras.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Beaugez, Sr. and Rose Taranto Beaugez.
Survivors include his loving husband of 26 years, William W. "Bill" Raymond, Jr.; his siblings, Jeanne C. Orr (Sammie) and Judy Bosarge (Otie); and his pets, Rosie Marie, Bruiser and Scarlett Ann.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral at 12pm on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Friends are invited to gather from 10-12pm. Interment will follow at Seymour Cemetery. Following burial, there will be a reception at his and Bill's home, 6481 Florence Road in Biloxi.

I met Sammy through his beloved Bill who is my dear friend. Sammy was such a nice man and I am so very glad I was able to meet him. My heart breaks for him, for Bill, and for all their family.
