Jack A. Gearin

Gearin Gearin, Jack (John) A., 74, of Margate, Florida passed away on January 23, 2008. He was born on December 19, 1933 in Norwalk, CT., the son of Cornelius and Mary Grace Gearin and brother of Neil Gearin, all who preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Jackie of Oakland Park, FL; two sons, Christopher of Philadelphia, PA and Timothy of Norwalk, CT; three grandsons, Joshua, Kevin and Kyle and one great-grand-daughter, Jadyn; as well as two step-children, Patty and Scott; preceded in death by step-daughter, Dianne. Jack was a long time resident of Broward County since the late 1960s. He worked for Grayline Limosine Service for many years until his retirement this past September at the age of 73. The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Jackie Gearin Kobialko, Sunday, January 27th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm, at 61 NE 47 Court, Oakland Park, FL 33334. A private family service will be held in the near future. The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, that contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 5420 NW 33 Avenue, Suite 100, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309 in memory of John Gearin.
