Sheila Gracy Obituary

GRACY, Sheila A. (Wohinc) of Dunedin, passed away peacefully on Jan. 10, 2010. Sheila was born in Weston, WV and attended Mount St. Joe "on the Ohio", where she studied and graduated with a degree in medical technology. She married her high school sweetheart and moved to Dunedin in 1960, where she raised four boys. Sheila was proud of her 1967 award for Dunedin's "Best Dressed Lady". She enjoyed reading, history, and travelling, so much so that her deep Roman Catholic faith led her to the Holy See on four occasions. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Greg; & her sons David of Raleigh, John,Dunedin, Karl Tarpon Springs, Drew, Dunedin; seven grandchildren and her brother, Rev. Karl R. Wohinc of Shinnston, WV. On Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, the family celebrated a private Requiem Mass (Missa pro defunctis) at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Our Lady of Lourdes, c/o "The Sheila Gracy Memorial Scholarship Fund" at 750 San Salvador Drive, Dunedin, FL 34698.

All of us here at Dr Carazola's office send our thoughts and prayers to Mr Gracy and his family. We, of course will miss Sheila deeply.

My sincere condolences are with the Gracy family at this time. May your memories help you through this most difficult time.

I worked in Greg Gracy's office in 1985/1986. He is a great person and my thoughts and prayers are with him.
