Brian...I can't believe we are already at 10 years since losing you way too soon. I miss you my friend and will never, ever forget what a great person you were in my life. We were connected beyond this physical world and always will be. I just want you and your family to know I still think about you, you will never be forgotten and you were a force beyond what I can even put words to, a great man and a great friend and an honor and privilege to have you as a part of my life. Love you Brian, fly high my dear friend.

Hard to believe it has been eight years, Brian. You are never far from
my thoughts, and my memories of you stay the same: A unique individual, incredibly smart and funny, and always generous with your talent and time. I love and miss you, brother! Rest easy, and thanks for always being you.

Brian - I remember meeting you at Miss State's band camp the summer between 8th & 9th grade. A fellow flautist & a guy ... unusual combo. But then you always did march to the best of your own drummer. And then my mom & I became friends with you, your mom & sisters. I so enjoyed our times together. High school band was a blast ... so many memories. I'm gonna look you up when I get to heaven and I would love to hear you play again. RIP Brian.

He got his nickname "Brain' from Miz' Cockrell at Caldwell High who got so mad at him for cutting up in class that she called him Brain instead of Brian and it stuck. She called him right too, cauz' he was extremely intelligent.
