Philip LeMaire Obituary
Lafayette - Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Philip Eric LeMaire, 82, who died on Monday, February 26, 2018.
Deacon Art Bakeler will conduct the memorial services. Lectors will be Thomas Autry and Curley Simon.
Survivors include his wife, Sonja Guidry LeMaire; one son, David LeMaire; three grandchildren, Jeremy LeMaire (Lydia), Creceda LeMaire and Johnathan LeMaire (Kesha); seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; three brothers, Thomas Autry LeMaire (Barbara), Burton "Boo" LeMaire and Carrol LeMaire (Francis); and seven step-children, Mindy Guidry (Keith), Monic Gary (Keith), Michelle Parker, Nolen Miles, James Miles (Marie), Michael Miles and Kenneth Miles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip LeMaire and Odite Theriot; daughter, Catherine LeMaire; infant son, Michael LeMaire; one sister, Beatrice Dartez; and one brother-in-law, Robert Lee Dartez.
Phil was an avid outdoorsman who loved golfing, fishing and duck hunting. Many wonderful times were spent with family and friends at his camp in Big Lake.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of services.
The family would like to thank the nurses and support staff at Community Hospice Care for their loving and compassionate care and also the caring staff of Maison de Williams Adult Health Day Care.
