There are not enough words to express all that this man has meant to me. I have tried all of my life just to be half the
man that he was. He set the example for hard work, honesty, integrity and demonstrated on a daily basis how a true gentleman should act.He is my hero... but best of all he is my DAD!!! I love you Dad and don't you forget it.

Although I never met Mr. Johnny, I am sure I see him reflected in David who I appreciate very much for all our many years of work together. Thanks J.D. for being my Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 38, Port Allen, LA back in the 50's. I learned so many good and moral lessons of what life was about and that I have used them in my life. I had so much fun under your guidance at Camp Istrouma, my first real trip away from my family. I remember how you held your head up so proudly as you walked down Georgia St. pass my home in Port Allen.
