Jason Chojnowski Obituary

Jason Richard Chojnowski of Groveland, Fla., formerly from Dickson City, passed away on June 27 as a result of an automobile accident. He is survived by his loving wife, Nadine "Niche."

Born in Dickson City to Richard Chojnowski and the late Marion "Bunnie" Chojnowski, he was a 1989 graduate of Mid Valley High School. He received his Bachelor of Science from Marywood University. He was employed by MCBP Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, Orlando, Fla.

Jason lived his life a quarter-mile at a time. He was known for his contagious laugh, piercing blue eyes and infectious smile. He lived in the moment and marched to the beat of his own drum. He cherished his family and friends and loved to brighten everyone's day with one of his jokes or many stories. He was a "gear head" and loved his muscle cars. He looked forward to his time with his dad and brother working on their cars at the garage. Jas loved '80s hair-band music and spending time in his man cave. He was an avid collector of WWII memorabilia, model airplanes, classic cars, "Star Wars" and various genres of music.

He cherished traveling to Europe with his wife, especially to Germany. They cruised to Belize, Curaçao, St. Martin and many other places in the Caribbean.

Jason will be sorely missed by his family, many friends and especially his wife and fur babies, Miley and Jazzy.

Jason didn't know any strangers, just friends he hadn't met yet. Jason always said, "only the good die young," and he was truly one of the best. The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long.

Also surviving are a brother, Cory Chojnowski, grandmother, Vivian Needle, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private cremation services were held per his wishes.

A celebration of his life was held in his honor by his family and friends.

"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count; it's the life in your years."

At 18 you knew what you after buddy, Top down on that GTO ,huge smile, loud laugh ,great outlook and loving life. Haven't seen you in 25 years but I'm certain you ate up and embraced every minute of it. I'll bet it's not often that somebody walks in to heaven and brightens the place up. The man must have some special plans for a guy like you. The Lord must have needed an assist. Go get his work done .
