Hudak-O'Shea & Gabriel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. - OlyphantElizabeth “Beth” Ruth Kranick, 66, of New Jersey and formerly of Olyphant, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Merry Heart Senior Care Center, Succasunna, NJ.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Michael and Elizabeth “Betty” (Bidwell) Kranick. A 1977 graduate of Mid Valley High School, Beth went on to earn her B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Marywood College in 1981. Her professional career was spent in the accounting field as an Executive Assistant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New Jersey, where she dedicated more than three decades of service before retiring.
Beth enjoyed a variety of interests throughout her life, especially traveling, photography, and the unique hobby of juggling, which brought joy to those around her.
She is survived by her brother, Keith Kranick and his wife, Debbie; nieces, Amanda and Jessica; great-nephew, Ezra; her 102-year old Uncle John Bidwell and many cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John “Jack” Kranick.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Nola and Jim, who spent countless hours helping Beth. Their kindness will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to attend Beth’s visitation, which will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. in Hudak-O’Shea & Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant, followed by a blessing service at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Scott Sterowski, St. Carlo Acutis Parish’s Pastor. Inurnment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Blakely.
