Pearl Franklin Metzger, Sr., 83, passed away May 18, 2021 in Portsmouth, OH. Pearl was born on November 6, 1937 in Portsmouth, OH to the late John and Edna (Sadler) Metzger. He is survived by his children, Louwanna (John) Gartin, Pearl F. Metzger, Jr. and Jason (Stephanie) Metzger; grandchildren, Chris (Amanda) Haines, Syrina (Shawn) Johnson, Brittany (David) Dunbar, Ciara Metzger, Jacob Metzger, Chyenne (Dylan) Gangewere, Ashley (Matt) Handley,John Gartin, Travis, Casey and Josh Metzger; several great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Ann (Don) Winters. Pearl's family will receive friends on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 11am-1pm at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068, where his funeral service will be held at 1pm with Pastor Craig Martens officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
