To the Mock Family, Mark and I just found out today that Terry had left us and we are so sorry that we did not know. Terry was a great person, we have such great memories of him at Jax Raceways on Saturday nights. He introduced Max to us years ago and he helped our son when he first started Go Kart Racing when he was 5 or 6 and he is now 19 still racing and loving it. Our prayers go out to your family in the tough time, Terry will be greatly missed.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To the Mock Family:
My prayers and thoughts will be with you these coming days. My memories of Terry will always be fond and pleasant. The first time I saw him, he was wearing Jay's crash helmet and driving Jay's micro-midget race car #44 on Al Getson's race track on Beach Boulevard. He was quite small and Jay had strapped him in the car so he couldn't reach the gas pedal and had set the throttle at a fast idle speed. I enjoyed visiting Terry & Jay at Terry's welding shop over these past years. Terry was an outstanding craftsman as well as an outstanding race car driver. I always enjoyed seeing his excellent work and his latest inovation to his race car. But best of all he was always a gentleman and kind to his fellowman.
Sincerely, Tommy Thompson, Runaway Bay, Texas.

Rest In Peace
October 17, 2010
On his first day of school I went across the street to my cousin Terry's house to ride with him on our bikes to the schoolhouse just up the road. We were happy little boys. I surely did miss them when they moved from Lewisville, NC to Jacksonville, FL. I rejoice in his excellent life and the success of all the family there.

My deepest sympathy goes to the Mock family for their unfortunate loss. I became friends with Terry through his presence as a welding shop owner. There are many things I will always remember about him. Firstly, he was a dedicated, loving family man who put them first. Secondly, a person who had tremendous life wisdom, sharing personal insights to success and practical thinking. Thirdly, to me he was a unequivocal master of metal artistry. There will be no other man in my mind who can match his wizard like perfection of metal fabrication. I enjoyed watching him make metal products over the years that were amazing. I asked him if he ever considered schooling others, since he was truly the BEST at it. Terry in his humble opinion told me "he was not good enough", which spoke of his humility, another personal trait we admired. The Mock family should be very proud, since all of his friends, neighbors and customers admired him. Rest in Peace, Terry.
