COOK
Regina Waters Cook, 71, passed away peacefully Friday, November 9, after an extended illness. A lifelong Jacksonville resident, she was born September 3, 1947 to Jamison Gray Waters and Natalie Langston Waters. Regina grew up in the Northside, attending local schools and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, class of 1965. She enjoyed a long career in the Mortgage Industry, lasting over 45 years, before retiring from EverBank in 2014. She was a lifelong member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church, joining as a child in 1958.

Waters (Jimmy), a son, Derek Green (Michelle), grandson Arthur Green, step-son and stepdaughter George Cook, Jr and Sherry Will. She is also survived by her friend and former husband Charlie Green, and her childhood friend and treasured cousin Jill Merton (Bruce) of Ft. Meyers. Praying for the family for God's comfort is the loss of their precious Regina. I worked with Regina for 14 years at EverBank and she was a sweet and dear friend to me. Hold on to those precious memories. Heaven's gain and heaven grows sweeter everyday!
