Sandy, Anne and Ellen - my deepest sympathies. Mark was not only a valued colleague and true mentor, he was also close friend I could always count on. I will greatly miss Mark's wisdom on balancing family and professional commitments, strong moral values, and his desire to enjoy life fully. And he practiced what he preached! Without Mark, I would not love paddling, the Keewanaw, Van Morrison, John McPhee and so many other things! Thank you for sharing Mark with me. Peace, and I will thinking of you.

Sandy, Ellen and Anne - my deepest sympathy. Mark was not only a trusted colleague and a true mentor, he was also a wonderful friend to me for many years. I can't tell you how much I value Mark's wisdom on how to balance work, family life and a strong set of moral values - and the fact that he practiced what he preached. Mark taught me how me how to appreciate canoeing, the Keewanaw, Van Morrison, John McPhee, and so many other good things. Thank you for sharing Mark with me!
