Paul Ricksecker Obituary

Paul E. Ricksecker Jr., 45, of Findlay, died at 7:58 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2005, at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center. He was born on July 3, 1960, in Findlay to Paul E. Ricksecker and Evelyn Mattox. His father, Paul and stepmother, Barb Ricksecker, along with his mother, Evelyn and stepfather, James Connell survive him. On August 28, 1986, he married Ruth (Klepper) Lanagan and she survives. Also surviving are daughters, Stacy Ricksecker and Bobbie (Randy) May; son, Larry (Danielle) Lanagan; ten grandchildren, Sierra, Jessie, Tre, Kelsey, Jasmine, Nicole, Kara, Scott, Zach, and Dustin; sister, Debra Neville; brothers, Michael and Joe Ricksecker; and stepbrother, Cotton Connell. Brother, Randy and grandparents, Bonnie Smith and Paul Ricksecker preceded him in death.
Paul attended Findlay City Schools and worked as an iron worker for 16 years with Sawyer Steel. He enjoyed yard work, wood working, and especially his three dogs, Lady, Newt, and Prancer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2005, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, with Reverend Ben Borsay officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, 500 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081.
