Beverly Davis Obituary

DAVIS Beverly B. Beverly B. Davis, who along with her husband the late Max Davis, owned and operated jewelry stores in Toledo and Northwest Ohio for over 50 years, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, in her Sylvania Township home at the age of 86. Born in Detroit, MI the daughter of Nisan and Minnie Bogart, she married Max Davis of Columbus, OH and settled in Toledo where they established their jewelry business and raised their family. She was a former member of Temple B'nai Israel and helped in the support of several organizations in Toledo's Jewish community. Surviving are her daughter, Melanie Davis; granddaughter, Britney Wallace; great-grandsons, Parker and Max; great-granddaughter, Zoe; also sister, Shirley Alpiner. Services and interment will be held Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in Eagle Point Cemetery, Rossford, OH. Memorial tributes suggested in the form of contributions to the Jewish Community Center or the Alzheimer Association. Arrangements by the Robert H. Wick/ Wisniewski Funeral Home, 419-535-5840.
