Marcia J. Ray, 70, passed away on December 18, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo on March 26, 1950 to Irma and Howard Johnson.
Marcia was a longtime member of St. Clement Church where she was in charge of the festival for 32 years and ran Bingo. She was an avid golfer and had four chip-ins in one 18 hole round at Heatherdowns Country Club. Marcia was employed by Reichert Stamping before she retired to enjoy watching and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Al Ray; children, Deanna (Daren) Anderson, Lanee (Eirik) Tillman, Cassie Slagle, Joe Ray, Jodi (Mark) Dusa; grandchildren, Travis, Hunter, Gage (Kayla), Megan, Marissa, Stephan (Emily), Kaden, Austin, Ashlea, Ava and great-grandson, Paxton Tillman; siblings, Jim (Kathy) Johnson, Sr., Nancy Johnson, Margie (Terry) Abbott, Renee Gradomski and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Marielle and brother-in-law, Rick.
Marcia's family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Kasunic, Dr. Hoffman, as well as Hospice of Northwest Ohio and their staffs for the excellent care that she received.
Friends are invited to visit on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave. where a prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Masks will be required for entry and social distancing recommendations followed.
