I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Professor Dr. Lerum. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

I had the opportunity to take one of Dr. Lerum's classes at Pacific Lutheran University, and I can attest that it was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my academic career. His dedication to his students and his passion for teaching were evident in everything he did. I will always remember him as a memorable professor who challenged us to think critically and push ourselves to our limits.

Although his passing is a great loss to the academic community, his legacy will live on through the many students he taught and inspired over the years. I feel forever grateful for the knowledge and wisdom he imparted to me and the impact he had on my life.

Please know that you and your loved ones are in my thoughts during this difficult time.

With deepest sympathy,
Jennifer Frost (Ellis)
