Aunt Anna May loved us so much. She would never forget a birthday or Christmas, even when we were far too old to be getting presents from aunts and uncles! I have so many wonderful memories of her and Uncle Steve and Johnny and Danny.
My dad gave me a copy of the acceptance speech she gave when she won teacher of the state years ago. What a teacher she must have been! Being a teacher now myself, that is extra special to me. I would have loved to sit in on one of her classes.
Thank you for your love and generosity, Aunt Anna May. I love you.

I had Mrs Filor in the Poughkeepsie High school over 30 years ago. She was always kind to me. My prayers goes out to the family and may god give you comfort and strenght at this time.

Mrs. Filor was a sweet, kind and empathetic person. She was an excellent teacher and if you didn't have her for 11th grade history you surely missed out! I will always remember her greeting, "HIYA BABY". SIP Mrs. Filor!!!!!

Just want to say I am so sorry for your loss. I met Anna Mae at the rehab at Northern Dutchess Hospital this past summer. She was a warm sweet person I will always remember. May she rest in peace and be happy with her husband.
