I'm very thankful that Fran and I reconnected after so many years had passed. That reconnection enabled me to meet Cindy and John. I and my family enjoyed spending time at the beach with you both for the past few years. We sat and chatted and enjoyed watching Fran's valiant efforts at surfing (and getting into that wetsuit!). I will always remember Fran's kind heart and amusing stories.
Cindy, John, and family...my most heartfelt sympathies to you all.

It is with the greatest sadness that I share my condolences . Fran married my best friend in the world. Although I've known him a long time, I really got to know him better in recent years. He was funny . He spoke his mind and he was a fighter. He cared for Cindy like no other, he loved her so deeply. I don't know anyone who could love so selflessly as he.
He often spoke of how proud he was of his sons and family ; Fran did not have it easy , but he never gave up and as time went on , he became stronger and did all that he could do for Cindy and her amazing sons. He is in a peaceful wonderful place watching over the ones he loves.
I miss you Fran xo
All my love, Woman

I am very sorry to hear of Fran's death. After meeting him in the Zonkaraz days, I had the pleasure of getting to know him better over the last six or seven years.
He often told me how much he loved Cindy and the boys. One of the last times I talked to him, Fran was thinking about taking EMT training so he could help other people.
Earlier this month, he wrote, "I don't think I told you that Johnny and me took Cindy to Florida last month. We three got to spend a week totally together. Every day we did something together. We bonded so much, my heart was so full, of love. It remains full of love AND Cindy has been feeling great since we got back."
Deepest sympathy to Cindy and the boys. I miss him already.

Rest In Peace, Fran. The Welcom Family was like a second family to me growing up. I am thankful and grateful for all the time we spent together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
