Greg was first my neighbor across the street and my classmate 1-12. He was my altar boy buddy and occasional ride to St.Christophers. MR. Beebie's green Marquis and MRS. Beebie at the front door in the a.m. are not forgotten.
Greg you were my teammate and my protector on and off the field you later became my mortar guy along with Pat skilled and dedicated Craftsman. You were a mentor to me and most importantly my lifelong friend. Even if time had elapsed I could always catch up with you I will sadly miss that opportunity now. Because of you and Pat I went to the playground one evening to play basketball not soccer, what, I didn't want to go to play basketball but you convinced me, "come on"! you said and I did. We met my future wife and her friend that night. Joyce and I will never forget that. I see here that you were also these things to EVERYONE. A genuinely kind gentle caring man with a strong sense of right and wrong and the willingness and ability to back it up, and that my friend doesn't surprise me one bit. God bless

My heart breaks for the loss of this great man. He always had a smile on his face and happiness in his heart that he so openly shared with everyone. They say God calls the best and that's exactly what he did when he quietly whispered "Come with me my son it's time to go home"
Rest in painless peace my friend. If God is willing we will meet again in that beautiful place they call heaven.

Although we really didn't get a chance to know Mr.Beebie we did get a glimpse of him from his wonderfully, supportive family who were by his side everyday during his courageous battle. His wife- tenacious and always a pleasure to speak with. His children who knew when Mom needed a break and could put a smile on Dad's face. Our hearts break for you and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time

To the Beebie Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked on the Keeper and had the pleasure of fishing and spending time with Greg for the past several years. He was truly a delight to be around and one of the kindest and most genuine people I ever met. He loved his family very much and always spoke of his family and grandchildren with pride. He will be sadly missed and well remembered.

Although I've only known Greg for a handful of years I can honestly say I have never met a more friendly and generous man. It was always a pleasure to see him walking down the dock to fish with us on the Keeper. He would stop fishing to help less experienced anglers. A class act. Everybody loved Greg and are saddened he is no longer with us. He's now fishing with the angels. Rest In Peace brother. Capt. Lee
