Hunter L. Slugg Sr.

Hunter Lloyd Slugg Sr. of Warminster Pa., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 13, 2021. He was 77 years old. Born in Abington, Pa., he was the son of the Late James and Erma (nee Lishman) Slugg. Hunter is survived by his wife Jo-Anne (nee Preite) Slugg, his children Hunter Llyod Slugg Jr. and Bridget Scott Doyle (nee Slugg), and his grandsons Stephen Hunter Scott and Dalton Shane Scott. Hunter served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis on the USS Macdonough DL6-8. He was a part-time resident of Pecks Pond, and was an avid hunter, fisher, and loved boating. He worked at Holy Redeemer Hospital for 41 years in the engineering department. Hunter was a William Tennent High School graduate where he lettered in both soccer and baseball, but overall the best characteristics of Hunter were that he was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be forever missed. Services for Hunter will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org) be made in Hunter's memory.
