James Albert Lochala

James Albert Lochala, age 85, a lifelong resident of Crossett, AR passed away on June 20, 2014 at Ashley County Medical Center. He was born on August 6, 1928 in Crossett, AR to his parents, Wiley Britton and Sadie Townsend Lochala. Mr. Lochala served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a retired Pulp Mill Operator for Georgia Pacific after 37 years of service. He loved fishing, hunting and traveling. Mr. Lochala was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church for 55 years. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Thurman Lochala; three sons, Dennis James Lochala, Bill Lochala (Lynn), Greg Lochala; grandson, Jesse Lochala; granddaughter, Leigh Hensley (Josh); one great-grandson, Casen Dean Hensley and one sister, Lois Farmer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.
