Mildred "Millie" C. (Wanosik) Povick May 25, 1926- January 10, 2017 Mildred Cecilia (Wanosik) Povick, 90, of Charleston, WV, formerly of Dennison, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 20217 at SweetBriar Assisted Living in Dunbar, WV after a short illness. Born May 25, 1926 in Dennison she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Mary (Kovack) Wanosik. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Povick and siblings John, George, Stephen, Andrew, Joe, James, Phillip, Helen, and Anna. Millie was a resident of Dennison until May 2014 when she moved to SweetBriar Assisted Living to be closer to her son and daughter-in-law. She was a graduate of Dennison High School and a member of the Immaculate Conception church in Dennison. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. Millie also enjoyed golf, gardening, watching the Cleveland Cays on TV and sitting in the sunshine. Millie is survived by her son, Ronald (Susie) Povick of Charleston, WV; grandchildren Justin (Sara) Povick of State College, PA and Jennifer (Brian) Deal of Beaverton, OR; great-grandchildren, Luke, Davis, and Michael; and many nieces and nephews. Father Tyron Thomson will celebrate the funeral Mass on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Dennison. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church.
